1. Today, I used a transportation card for the first time on the subway.
2. At first, it was difficult to tap the card on the reader.
3. The reader responded so fast that I was surprised.
4. Someone next to me kindly explained how to use it.
5. They said I had to hold the card right in front of the screen.
6. On the second try, I succeeded and the machine beeped.
7. As the door opened, people quickly passed through.
8. I hurried to follow them and safely passed through the gate.
9. It was my first experience, so I was nervous but it was fun.
