Meaning

1. This morning it rained a lot, so I took my umbrella.
2. But when I arrived at work, my umbrella was missing.
3. I think I left it behind when I was standing on the street for a moment.
4. Walking without an umbrella in the rain was really hard.
5. I called my friend to ask if I could borrow an umbrella.
6. Luckily my friend was nearby and brought it over right away.
7. Thanks to the umbrella, I was able to get to work safely.
